About Make Money HQ
The make-money-online space has an honesty problem, and it's structural: the people reviewing offers are usually the people earning commissions on them, so every product is "the #1 rated system of 2026." Make Money HQ exists because a directory that states every offer's catch is worth more — to you and to us — than one that doesn't.
We're built on a simple bet: in a niche drowning in hype, the honest list is the one people keep open in a browser tab. Rankings you can trust are the product; affiliate commissions are just how it funds itself. Full disclosure here.
The editorial rules
Every offer gets visited, bought or trialed where possible
We don't list from affiliate-marketplace screenshots. If a funnel breaks, support ghosts, or the 'members area' is a PDF from 2019, it doesn't make the list regardless of the commission.
The catch is part of the listing
Every product in this niche has a catch — upsell stacks, ad budgets required, rented assets. We write it into every card. An offer without a stated catch is an ad, not a review.
Commissions never move rankings
We earn affiliate commissions on most links; that's the business model, disclosed everywhere. But scores are set by value-to-beginner, and high-commission junk gets the low score it earned — or no listing at all.
No fake urgency. Anywhere.
No countdown timers, no 'only 3 spots', no fake live-visitor counters. If an offer's own page runs these tactics aggressively, that's a strike against listing it at all.
Offers get pulled when they go downhill
Products degrade — support slips, refund windows get gamesy. When we see it, the offer comes down and the newsletter says why.
Ladder thinking over lottery thinking
We order the whole directory as a ladder: prove money moves cheaply, build a skill, then buy bigger tools with winnings — never tuition on a credit card. Offers get framed that way on purpose.
How the scores work
Every offer carries an editor score from 1 to 5, set by one question: how much honest value does a beginner get per dollar (or per free-tier hour)? A free course that teaches real fundamentals outscores a $997 box of templates. Recurring value, refund friendliness and operator track record all count. The score is an editorial judgment, published with reasoning you can read on every card — argue with it any time via the submit form.
